🧈 Shahi Paneer Butter Masala
🛒 Ingredients
- 250 gm Paneer (cubed)
- 2 large onions
- 3 tomatoes
- 10–12 cashews
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp oil
- 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
- ½ cup fresh cream
- 1 tsp red chilli powder
- ½ tsp turmeric
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- ½ tsp garam masala
- 1 tsp kasuri methi
- Salt as per taste
- 1 small cinnamon stick
- 2 green cardamoms
- Water as needed
👩🍳 Steps
1️⃣ Prepare the gravy
- Heat oil in a pan.
- Add onions and cook till light golden.
- Add tomatoes and cashews.
- Cook for 5–7 minutes until soft.
- Cool the mixture and grind into a smooth paste.

2️⃣ Cook the masala
- In another pan, heat butter.
- Add cinnamon and cardamom.
- Add ginger-garlic paste and sauté for 1 minute.
- Add the prepared paste.
3️⃣ Add spices
Mix:
- red chilli powder
- turmeric
- coriander powder
- salt
Cook till butter starts separating.

4️⃣ Make it creamy
- Add little water for gravy consistency.
- Add cream and mix well.
- Crush kasuri methi between palms and add.
5️⃣ Add paneer
- Add paneer cubes gently.
- Cook for 3–4 minutes only.

6️⃣ Final touch
- Sprinkle garam masala.
- Add a little butter on top for restaurant taste.

- Butter Naan
- Jeera Rice
- Tandoori Roti
Tip: Soak paneer in warm water for 10 minutes before cooking to keep it soft ✨
