1. Make the Dough
- In a large bowl, mix the yeast and warm water. Let it sit for 5–10 minutes until it becomes foamy.
- Add the flour, salt, sugar, and olive oil. Mix until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 8–10 minutes until it becomes smooth.
- Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until it doubles in size.

2. Make the Sauce
- In a small pan, heat olive oil and sauté the minced garlic for 30 seconds.
- Add crushed tomatoes, oregano, salt, and pepper.
- Simmer for 10–15 minutes. Set aside to cool.
3. Preheat the Oven
- Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C). If you have a pizza stone, place it in the oven now.

4. Shape the Dough
- Once the dough has risen, punch it down and divide it in two if making two pizzas.
- Roll out the dough into a circle or rectangle, depending on your baking sheet or pizza pan.

5. Add Toppings
- Spread the tomato sauce over the dough.
- Sprinkle shredded cheese on top.
- Add your favorite toppings.
6. Bake the Pizza
- Place the pizza on a baking sheet or hot pizza stone.
- Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly.
7. Serve and Enjoy
- Let the pizza cool for a couple of minutes. Slice and serve hot!
