Ingredients
- 1 packet noodles
- 1 tbsp oil
- 1 tbsp chopped garlic
- 1 tsp chopped ginger
- 1 onion (sliced)
- 1 cup mixed vegetables (cabbage, carrot, capsicum, beans)
- 1–2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp green chilli sauce (optional)
- 1 tbsp tomato ketchup
- Salt to taste
- ½ tsp black pepper
- Spring onion for garnish (optional)

Method
- Boil noodles in water with a little salt and oil. Drain and keep aside.
- Heat oil in a pan/wok. Add garlic and ginger, sauté for few seconds.
- Add sliced onion and stir-fry on high flame till slightly soft.
- Add all vegetables and stir-fry for 2–3 minutes (keep it crunchy).
- Add soy sauce, chilli sauce, ketchup, salt and pepper. Mix well.
- Add boiled noodles and toss everything nicely on high flame for 1–2 minutes.
- Garnish with spring onion and serve hot.

Tips
- Always cook chowmein on high flame.
- Don’t overcook vegetables, crunch is important.
